Nestled on a wooded hillside by the sea, Mousehole is a small fishing village in West Cornwall, 3 miles south west of Penzance. The picturesque harbour is surrounded by pretty, narrow streets with granite cottages huddled together. Along the harbour front you can find galleries, gift shops and restaurants. The harbour itself has two safe sandy beaches at low tide which are popular with families. There are stunning views of Mount's Bay, St Michael's Mount and nearby St. Clements Isle.
Mousehole is situated along the South West Coastal Path and is an ideal stop-off for walkers. It is a functioning fishing village and available activities include fishing, boat trips, paddle boarding and sea kayaking. There are bronze age settlement sites in the surrounding stunning countryside. There is a regular bus service to Newlyn, Penzance and elsewhere.

Newlyn is a thriving fishing harbour with one of the largest fishing fleets in England. There is also a lively arts community - visit Newlyn Art Gallery, Iocated on the edge of Newlyn Green overlooking the sea, the gallery take full advantage of its position with the recent addition of a glass pavilion.
Penzance is a historic market town, great for browsing interesting shops and galleries. On the seafront you will find the Lido, the recently renovated open air seawater swimming pool. The Scillonian 3 sails between Penzance harbour and the Isles of Scilly and there is also a lively marina. Penzance has lots of useful local shops and several large supermarkets too.
